The Chamber committees are the working force at the heart of the organization allowing the organization to become more efficient. The specialized skills and interests of Members are used to their fullest. More Members have an opportunity to get involved in the detail work of the organization. Responsibilities are shared according to skills and interests of Members.

New or inexperienced Members can gain valuable insight into the organization and develop confidence by serving on committees.

Committee structure:

Usually a Chamber Board Member serves as Committee Chairperson with Chamber Members and other interested volunteers forming the remainder of the committee. All Chamber Members are welcome and are encouraged to participate on a Committee of their choice. It is a great way to interact with the Chamber, other businesses and the community.
